The Journey of A Thousand Miles Begins With a Single Step.......
Therapy can be one of the most profound, cathartic and challenging experiences in a person's self-development and healing. Having personally experienced being both a client and a counselor, I know of the insightful and cathartic ways in which therapy can bring new insights and deeper meaning into our lives.
Mental health is health. We all need to tend to our health from time to time - maybe we have an on-going health issue that needs to be addressed, or maybe we just go to the doctor for a check-up or annual exam. Seeking support for your mental health is no different. Some come to me wanting to address an acute issues, others would like to do a mental health "check-up!" My services cover a wide range of reasons and motivations for why someone would want to come to therapy.
With over 10 years of experience working as social worker and therapist for adults and youth in Toronto, I am honoured to be now offering my services privately to individuals who are looking for a supportive and experiential therapeutic experience! Using an approach that combines the methodologies of Gestalt therapy, somatic therapy anti-oppressive/decolonized practice, and holistic perspectives, I work with clients relationally and supporting them in their unique process of self-discovery and personal development.
Choosing the right therapist for you can be one of the most important decisions you make on your path to self-discovery. Co-creative, supportive and critically informed care is a core value of the work that I do, and these are the values that I strive to bring to every session.
